The West Lancashire Partnership involves several organisations working together to improve the health, care and wellbeing of people living in West Lancashire.

We are a partnership of local organisations who each have an interest in or contribute to the health and wellbeing of people in our area.

The challenges facing health and care are well documented and will probably not come as a great surprise. So, it is crucial we make better use of our joint resources. This includes staff, services and money.

As a partnership we will work together to a common vision: ‘A place where we help each other, ourselves and our communities to be the very best we can be’.

As changes are made to the way we work, some of the language around the transformation can be a little confusing. While we will always try to make things as easy to understand as possible, it might be worth having a look at our glossary of terms Healthier Lancs and South Cumbria :: Glossary of terms (healthierlsc.co.uk)

To make West Lancashire a place where we help each other, ourselves and our communities to be the very best we can be.

You will be an equal partner in addressing your own health and wellbeing and your care will be joined up.

We need to change the way we deliver health and care services to ensure they are fit for now and the future.
