Our partnership involves several West Lancashire focused organisations coming together to discuss what our communities need and want in order to improve local people’s lives.
Our members include Lancashire County Council, West Lancashire Borough Council, NHS West Lancashire Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG), Lancashire and South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust, Virgin Care, GP practices, including Primary Care Networks (PCNs) and West Lancashire CVS (Council of Voluntary Services).
We know that a lot of what determines our health and wellbeing outcomes has little to do with the NHS directly. Things like housing, the level of education we reach, the type of job we get, if we get one at all. It’s difficult to live a healthy, fulfilling life if you’re worried about money, live in cold or damp conditions, or feel cut-off from those around you. We want to work together to focus firmly on these wider factors which influence health and wellbeing as well as on care issues.

To make West Lancashire a place where we help each other, ourselves and our communities to be the very best we can be.
You will be an equal partner in addressing your own health and wellbeing and your care will be joined up.
We need to change the way we deliver health and care services to ensure they are fit for now and the future.
